The Museum of Second AVNOJ Session is one of the several museums in Europe devoted to an anti-fascist global phenomenon. The Museum was founded in 1953 as a central Yugoslav museum memorial institution.

It was in this building that the session of the Antifascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia (AVNOJ is its local-language acronym) was held on 29th and 30th November in 1943, at- tended by 142 councillors representing BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Mace- donia and Slovenia, who renounced some elements of sovereignty to create a fed- eral state (The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). A visitor to the museum can see the original deep armchair in the centre where Tito sat, several original chairs of the diverse shapes and forms, portraits by painter Djorde Andrejevic Kun (Lenin, Marx, Engels, Tito, Stalin and Roosevelt), paintings by painter Bozidar Jakac and specialised library.

The museum is located near the bus station and waterfalls and offers guided tours in English and local language. Working hours: every day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
